My name is Jordan Phillips. I am an artist born and based in Seattle, Washington.

I am inspired by artists like Shel Silverstein, Jean Michel Basquiat, David Choe and Keith Haring. I grew up watching old cartoons like Hey Arnold, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life and not to mention Tom and Jerry. I eventually found some of my all time favorite cartoons like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Regular Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Chowder. My love for weird art knows no bounds and these are just some of the most inspiring things I've been fortunate enough to experience in my life. 

My artwork is many things and in time I've grown tired of pretentious explanations. I like to draw. I like to paint. I like to make stuff. When I first started drawing my characters I didn't necessarily think they were weird and I definitely didn't find them funny. It's an expression of my perspective. I guess you could say my drawings are a reflection of how I see people, how I see the world and how I see my self. The world is really a very weird and very ugly place. It can also be very funny or generally absurd. My art is how I feel about society. My art is how I see the people in it. My art is what it means to be different.  

I'm so thankful to be able to call myself an artist and I'm even more thankful for everyone who supports me. Even though life sucks a lot of the time I've been able to find a lot of room for love in my life. I do my best to put almost every ounce of it into creating something I'm proud of.
